Our laboratory is named Lab of Ultrafast Spectroscopy, in short “UFS”, it is affiliated to the Center for Ultrafast Optoelectronic Technologies (in short “C-UFO”), the C-UFO is the State Key Laboratory on Intergrated Optoelectronics. Our laboratory is established in 2006, and it is located in Tang Aoqing Building, Jilin University, 2699 Qianjin Street, changchun 130012, China.

UFS laboratory is composed by Micro-nano Integrated Chips Lab, Optoelectronic Functional Materials Systhesis Lab, Small Molecular Optoelectronic Materials Lab, Novel Photonic Integrated Technology Lab, Ultrafast Optoelectronic Spectroscopy Lab, IC Electro-optic Sampling Lab, Structured Organic Thin Film Devices Lab, and Nanotechnology Manufacturing Joint key Laboratory. This UFS laboratory is equipped with Femtosecond Time-resolved Pump-probe Absorption System, Femtosecond Time-resolved Luminescence Up-converted System, Steady Absorption/Luminescence Probe System, and other supporting optical/electronic system.

The UFS laboratory is leaded by professor Hai-Yu Wang, he received the B.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in electronics from JiLin University, ChangChun, China, in 1989 and 2000, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in netherlands and United States, from 2002 to 2008. In 2009, he was promoted as a full professor (Tang Aoqing Professor) in JiLin University, China. The UFS laboratory now members contain 2 associate professors, 1 postdoctoral, 5 doctors, 5 masters.

By ultrafast laser spectroscopy, the UFS laboratory aims to understand the nature of elementary dynamics in artificial complex and biological systems, such as electron transfer, energy transfer and other excited state process.
